Most Filipino Ulam (Tagalog for main dish) recipes originate from all over the world! The Philippines is truly a melting pot when it comes to cuisine. Spanish, Chinese & Indian flavors are present throughout our dishes. These recipes are inspired by chef Mary Dee's mother and Lola's (Tagalog for grandmother) who've passed down generations of love & patience in the kitchen.

Kare Kare - bok choy, Japanese eggplant, tofu & Chinese long bean in a creamy peanut stew (GF/Soy Free)

Tinola - ginger based broth w/ tender chayote squash, onions, garlic, spinach, mushrooms and bok choy (GF/Soy Free)

Sinigang - perfectly sour tamarind based broth (a childhood favorite for most!) simmered w/ okra, green beans, gabi (taro root), tomatoes and kang kong (water spinach) (GF/Soy Free)

Pinakbet - Chinese long bean, kalabasa (Filipino butternut) squash, tomato, Japanese egg plant, okra and bitter melon sautéed in a savory sauce (GF)

Yellow Coconut Curry - red & green bell peppers, onions, tender potatoes & carrots in a creamy, perfectly spiced yellow curry coconut milk sauce (GF/Soy Free)

Arroz Caldo - Filipino's "chicken & rice porridge" ultimate comfort food. Soy chicken simmered in a ginger based broth with jasmine rice cooked right in. Topped w/ scallions, saffron and crispy garlic

Adobo - soy chicken in a sweet & savory soy & vinegar based marinade with onions, garlic, potatoes and whole black peppercorn

Kaldereta - savory tomato based stew w/ onions, red bell peppers, potatoes, peas and carrots (GF/Soy Free)

Munggo - naturally high in protein, simmered mung beans, garlic, onion, ginger, tomato & bok choy create this creamy, one of a kind stew. Topped w/ crispy onions (GF/Soy Free)

Filipino Spaghetti - soy minced beef and veggies in our hearty red sauce. Perfectly sweet & sticky and this traditional recipe includes vegan hot dogs!

Ginataang Kalabasa at Sitaw - kalabasa (Filipino butternut squash) simmered w/ Chinese long Beans and onions in coconut milk, this combination creates a velvety butternut sauce (GF/Soy Free)
